What's a "Torq stix"?
Like what Pete @gookah mentioned in his post mate. Snap-on were probably the first to offer them. Problem with them is that, this is their only use really, and they were quite expensive. Ok of your employer supplied them I suppose.

I trust nobody with my wheel nuts after a local tyre garage put the first set of tyres on the M and it took me and @Lee and a long bar to undo them. If I see a torque wrench just clicking and not moving they get told. But luckily where I take the Zeds now dont use windy guns to put wheels back on, just to remove them, they use spiders and torque wrench #proffessionals :thumbsup:

Fair comment Niall, but there's nothing wrong with using impact wrenches to run nuts up. Operator error is the key thing here.

I was just checking something on my 330, and noticed a couple of top tips...

Spin the wheel as you lower it, when it grips, stop the jack and torque the bolts.

For low cars - Lower to the ground slowly. This will mean the suspension is still quite high when the jack is released and you can get it out from under the car.
