The Z3 Bug!

Great work going on there Andy .
So many things that are on the to do list
A voyage of discovery mate, lots of looking and quadruple checking on the first side, just started stripping down the second side. Of note, no clips broken on either side, which is nice. Lockdown does have the odd benefit, a weeks leave and not allowed out and poor weather so had the time.

Unfortunately both of mine have just sat in the rain all week been off but wet and windy all week:(

I've a nice warm dry Garage but, I've been working on the garage.

Tony.

Sill cover bearing up OK, some minor corrosion on the edges so sanded back, Jenolite applied then two coats of Hamnerite.

Quater panel all OK so just cleaned and applied some ACF-50 for prevention measures. Interestingly water was dripping out of the indicator wire so left to drain

Wheel Cradle cleaned and ACF-50 applied

A bit dusty at the moment after all the work that's being done, hopefully get her out for a good wash next weekend when all put back together. Thanks

Just realised my typo...
That is 'a' lovely motor...
Good Luck with the further repairs - Sadly I don't have a garage so all my works end up being on the street outside... And all very weather dependent! I will get round to a list at some point, but at the moment Lady P & I are just enjoying the sunshine and an open top car!!

SitRep. Bella is 24 next month so thought I'd treat her  A new (to her) set of 17" staggered Style 78's courtesy of John @Dakar Z3. Absolutely top notch job, as new. Had a clandestine meeting in a random lay-by near Hexham to do the exchange then home. First time I've met John, had time for a chat, a thoroughly nice chap. Many thanks John.

Spacers, maybe?

Nice one Andy. What tyre pressures do you have on these? Have you done any fettling?

The fronts look like they line up well. Will you go for spacers on the back?

Thanks Martin. 32psi all round, runs sweet as :scorecard:

I'll look into spacers, I'll measure up with a plumb line to measure the gap.
