It was only the 1850cc with twin webers on. Went like s**t off a shovel but drank petrol like it was going out of fashion. It was like sitting in an armchair.

They were very comfortable as I remember Dave. Even the Toledo's were a decent car. Took my driving test in one of them.

Only yellow was a new 72 VW Beetle. Girlfriend had one with the auto. Great little car. New wife backed it into a concrete pillar when engaged so traded it off on a land rover which was a hoot!! JIM

Two different women, but they became friends! The ex was so upset she never did marry preferring to wait for the marriage to self destruct! Going on 44yrs now and still no explosion. Go figure! JIM
