Yep and it was glorious and a nightmare all at the same time.
Correction it would have been a Talbot Subeam, unless you are much older than I am. A Sunbeam Talbot was circa 1950's if memory serves. Now, if it had been a Lotus Sunbeam, that's another story. Some interesting cars - mine:
Rover 214 SLI
MGB 1.8 roadster - 69, whire wheels & chrome bumper - first to mod with a race tuned / bored out 2ltr engine...
RR 1982 - in Vogue (Gold - first 4 door rangie)
Jag XJS 89 - pre face lift 3.6 auto
Saab 9000 2.3 full turbo (fast in a straight line, hopeless at corners!)
Jag XJS 91 - post face lift 4 ltr manual - british racing green - awesome car
RR 1994 LSE started as a 4.2 v8 ended up as a chipped 5ltr v8
Freelander - too boring
Alfa 156 2ltr petrol
LR 1955ish S1
LR 1961 S2
RR 1997 (P38a) diesel - stage 2 tuned
RR 1996 (P38a) petrol 4.6
Mondeo estate (temporary car awaiting order or new car)
Kuga 2 ltr diesel - current
BMW Z3 3.0 auto (would have had manual, but was sister's old car) - current
LR 1971 S2a - current
so about 50% LR badged!

Morris Minor Estate (jelly mold on sticks) green I think.
1960's something Mini, red I think.
Ford Anglia, sky blue I think.
Ford Escort MK1, white I think. (he was offered a Capri after that but did not like the two tone)
And the dog.......Austin Allegro in a $hitty mustard brown colour.
