The quick and dirty picked up amongst other things a diff mounting that needed changing.

A beautiful morning to drive back up to ZedShed HQ for part 2 of my quick and dirty.

Whilst it was no where near terminal I was keen to get my delaminating diff bush and the diff oil changed. All the mechanical magic happens in there.

Next up was a bit of restorative work to bring back some of that low end grunt my 3.0l seems to have lost
Recently changed valve cover gasket came back off with no fuss.

All back together and wow! what a difference that made.

Really satisfying job to do. Looks scary but really noticeable once complete. The Kit Ant brought to me was from X8R and had everything needed.

A nice drive up to the shed today to get the Vanos overhauled.
Lee double gloved to prevent first degree burns from the bolts he removed.
Post Vanos overhaul, the car has much improved acceleration from a standing star

Another stunning Zed in last weekend. This was Ants old 1.8 M43 now owned by @Tony Francis we replaced the beam bushes along with front shocks. Considering its age this Zed is in fantastic condition inside and out.

My first trip to the ZedShed yesterday for beam bushes and front suspension. Great to meet Lee and all the team and wow! What a great job they do! Car rides so much better now, put a couple of hundred miles on with the trip back home then a Z3 run from Bridport to Portland today so everything from M3 to tiny country lanes to test it. Highly recommended.

Ah ..fantastic to see my old car, especially getting some love at the Shed. It’s amazing what a transformation having the bushes and shocks done makes. Finally ready for summer @Tony Francis

Proving to be very popular still. Another two zeds in and out last weekend. First car was @Ianmc 1.9. Was a delight to work on, we also noticed a leaky gearbox so will come back in the coming weeks to sort.

The second build was a guy from FB Zedshed page. This was a family owned car and proved to be difficult with living by the sea.
