The Power of a Magic Eraser

I'd never used one before but after reading / watching people use these when detailing their cars I thought I would give it a go.

I had some stubborn marks on my door panels and around the seat controls that a microfibre cloth and interior cleaner wouldn't remove. After using a magic eraser they came out no problem!

I was very impressed so I thought I would share in case this is useful to anyone else

They're brilliant things Faheem, we use them over at the villa for removing the scuff marks people leave by rubbing cases against the walls etc.

The trouble is there’s a lot of copy ones out there using the name and some of them are useless.

Might be worth posting a picture of the packaging or name.

I used these Rob, having looked on eBay and Amazon there are variants that are more/less expensive but this was very convenient as I was able to pop down to the local Tesco and pick one up.

It seemed to the job pretty well and whilst it's not completely perfect it has removed 99% of the marks in the area.

Good advice for the inside marks, Thanks. Now I've got a blue Z3 with lots of hairline scratches on its paintwork. An accessories company has made me up a compatible paint for the bigger scratches, but I'm no painter so there are still blemishes close up from my attempts to fill these in and there are still the hairline ones. Anyone know of a good wax that will over time give a uniform finish to the bodywork and make scratches less visible?
