I have just had a good look at the route and plotted it on Ordnance Survey maps to get a general view. It looks great and should be a good day out. Thanks for all your work planning it. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
 
@mwpe it's been really good fun. I hope all those that turn up enjoy the fun.

We also have two 3 series convertibles joining us as well as an X1. So fingers crossed.
 
Really looking forward to this meet. I'm not going to view the route though, going to enjoy a mystery tour

Romsey at the car park you suggested sounds good for us and 6pm it is. Hope the place to eat is not too far away! The route looks good takes in many good places. See you Saturday evening.

@cn55 The idea is we can have a walk around Romsey and get some food in one of the local pubs / restaurants that we like the look of.

Looking forward to meeting up with all the Zed owners..
 
Wish we could come along but we're got our charity bike ride we do each year :)

30th April 2015.

I have now added below two files, one is the directions in a text format with some important post codes and the other is a map version just showing the route marked with grey dots as an overlay.

I will be leaving Sainsburys Badger Farm SO22 4QB at 09:30am. This is off the M3 motorway at J11, From the North you turn right under the motorway and then left up to a roundabout, From the South you come off and end up at the roundabout. Where you proceed to the next roundabout and go straight on and up the hill A3090. At the next roundabout you take the 4th exit down a hill into the Sainsburys Car Park. People who are wanting to meet at this location, can you please let me know so I don't miss anybody. We will then proceed to the main meet up point at Ower via the country roads.

Saturday Evening Meal.

As the numbers have dropped I think we can meet up in Romsey and see what the local places have on offer. The Pay and Display Car Park on Broadwater Road might be a good place to meet Post Code SO51 8GN is an approximate location. Would everybody be happy with 18:00 ? Please confirm. @Mint @cn55 @Kit and any others who might like to join us.

Date is now 10th May 2015 for the drive out around the Forest and for those who want to meet up the night before, a pub meal on the 9th May 2015. I will be finding a few local premises and grab what kind of menu they have to give everybody an idea. Or we could meet up in Lymington and head to the local chip shop.. as always I will go with a majority choice.

I will point out that its a sedate drive around the forest as the speed limit is 40MPH ... but the views and the wildlife make up for it. A route in .pdf is attached to this post.

Looking to start from the Services at Ower, Bottom of the A36 just up from junction 2 of the M27. I will be heading down the old route from Winchester rather than the motorway if anybody wants to meet up and travel down about 09:30am Sainsburys Badger Farm South West of Winchester SO22 4QB. I am looking at a 10am meet up and 10.30am departure from the services at Ower.
