I don't agree with killing or harming animals at all, but you have a nice collection of guns!
I totally understand, are you a vegan?I don't agree with killing or harming animals at all, but you have a nice collection of guns!
No I do eat meat probably should have added for sport.I totally understand, are you a vegan?
That is why I put we eat what I kill. It is not easy to take a deer with a bow, I have gotten to the point that I'm very good, I do not want the deer to suffer at all and with my bow I have taken deer that never knew they were even hit, they never even flinched. I think the American Whitetail is the most beautiful animal in the world and I treat it as the one time in a year that I can hunt a animal to feed my family, it is spiritual to me as well as exciting. When we eat meat some animal has to die. When you kill that animal you realize that meat does not come in a patty! That death can happen it a butcher where they have no chance or in the wild where they are in control, now after I have told you all of this I will say that the deer near me have chronic waisting disease. So I don't trust the meat and I go into the woods now to film them and not to hunt them.No I do eat meat probably should have added for sport.
I personally don't regard all you guys as Cowboys at all. I was simply saying that I can't get my head round why any one would want to mix young people and guns in an educational facility. Assuming sport is in the curriculum and a change of clothing required where would these weapons be held safely during this time? Most of these young people can own a gun but can't have a drink?I'm sure we are all thought of as Cowboys around the world, but most of the people of United States, hunt, shoot target and have guns for protection. We are law abiding people. The City's that have drug problems are where the problems are. In my part of Pennsylvania, we keep our houses unlocked except at night, my garage is never locked as well as all the cars have the keys in them , we have relativity no crime, except when city people come to our area. I have studied Martial Arts for many year and I want to be able to protected my family, but "A man also has to know his limitations" ( my favorite quote from Clint Eastwood) The police are 20 min away and there are always bad guys bigger and stronger than I, so sometimes in some places I carry a gun. The politicians want to turn the US into Canada, UK or Australia and take away that freedom we have of protecting ourselves. I don't want to turn this into a gun debate, but I can relate it to our beloved Z3. We want the freedom to drive the cars that we want, when we want, we obey the laws, our cars are able to kill and do kill more people than guns. Do you want someone to take that away from you, because others abuse it? All the time they are being driven or flown around any place they want or protected by armed guards. To me and others in the US it's about freedom and we are loosing it! As for guns, I am much more deadly with my Bow, I have killed 28 Bucks with it and it's silent! My family eats everything I kill.
I think @M666BMG would taste like pork........I totally understand, are you a vegan?
Yes, I would love if this world did not have evil people. Our cultures are so different. Gun in my part of the world are just like any other tool that can be use for good or evil, my brother in law was killed by a drunk driver as well as many thousands, I fear other people on the road way more than the Million plus hunters in Pennsylvania. The gun can be looked at, as a threat, but I look at, it as protection and a equalizer, from the same evil people that will do me and my family harm. I take it that the two Ak's and hand gun are illegal, but yet the bad guys can get them, because they do not obey the laws. Blaming the gun is like blaming the car that killed my brother in law. Want to save lives ban cars, you may say you need cars for transportation, but here in Pa. we have 1000's of Amish and Mennonites that ride bikes and horse and buggies. Some people feel we don't need cars that pollute and feel it is killing the planet, why do we need basic transportation that can do 140 mph when it is illegal on the street. In my mind, there are three types of people you have the sheep, you have the wolves and you have the sheepdogs. Thank God for the sheepdogs! That are the men and women in uniforms that so their best to keep us safe from the wolves, but they can't be everywhere. Sheepdogs are like sheep that would not hurt anyone, but will defend their family, friends and country in best way possible. I to miss the times when you could get into a old fashion fist fight that ends in a beer together afterwords. Times are bad, the world is a bad place. I rest better in my home knowing that I can protect my family in the best way I can. You feel better calling the police and carrying a bat, that is fine. I like the freedom to have the best tool I can get, that maybe my armalite AR10 308 that can keep every shot in a pie plate at a 1000 yards, or the freedom to own a car that can triple the speed limit. I will agree to give up every gun, knife, bow or baseball bat that I own when you can assure me evil people no longer live on this earth. I do not say these things to try to fight with you or cause problems on this site. I truly love,to know how others around the world feel about things, I think that is the best thing about the internet and maybe the best way to understand each other, maybe it will even help get rid of some of the wolves in this world.I live in a small town 20 min north of Amsterdam, we have the same gun laws as the UK.
Bloke I new was liquidated just down the street from where I live.
Two AK47's and a hand gun for the head shot........nothing good about guns or any weapons for that matter.
What happened to the good old fashioned punch up?
You don't have to stop talking about guns because of my post.I'm done I won't bring up guns again.
Better than tasting like s***I think @M666BMG would taste like pork........
I am sorry, I was trying to make a point about having the best of something. I don't have to own a gun that can shoot 1000 yards to feel safe, just like I don't have to have a car that can do 11 seconds in the quarter mile. I own that gun because I want to, and it was a great investment. Heck I have a bow that can do the same thing at 100 yards and my best friend was a pitcher that could kill someone at 50 yards with a rock. You will never understand me. I Shoot with my friends we see who is the best and how far we can shoot. I'm sure you do the same type of competition with cars. We don't think of guns as a demons from hell or gods from the heavens. They are a tool that can be used for good or bad.I think it's really interesting how we look at things differently and I don't hold your gun ownership against you in any way. I would love to own and enjoy the weapons you have.i like and admire so many things about America but thank goodness I don't live there.....when you have to own a gun that can shoot someone at a 1000 yds to feel reassured that I could protect my family.its a sad reflection on society that this is the case.Sleepsafe buddy
