If/when the new series of Top Gear comes out I will give it a try Steve because a) I like Le Blanc and, more importantly, b) there will be no GT.;)

GT is TG in new cloths and expensive technique:thumbsup:; a little bit too alert, on my taste (like the nowadays action movies) , but is trendy and I realized how much I missed the three guys!...Good script, good plan (all over the world), good music. :)
And the intro on "Bright sunshiney day", with the three baileys on stage is epic and tonic, by the way...;)
I would say is TG to a next level. They scored again!
But the cherry on the cake , at least for me (!), is that I can see a 2016 episode in real time, when ever I want!
Compare that with the TG 2006 or (in the best case) 2010 series, they offer to us on the cable tv:(...it was hard to recognize the three guys because they were so young...:D

Grand Tour brings Great Times!;)

Second episode in and as good as the first. The Aston Martin Vulcan is insane.
Yep, just watched it, if the first 2 are anything to go by the series should be a hoot.

Personally I wasn't impressed by the second episode far too much fillers and not enough about cars.

This second episode better not be a sign of the rest of them. The Aston was good but nothing else car wise apart from an understeering Audi. The guys are rubbish actors, they need to be doing things in cars not trying to be tom cruise!

I think they need to use a bigger track for the property fast cars, that Vulcan was wasted there.

I'm not sure about their race driver.

The first episode was brilliant.

My 4yr old who loves them and doesn't like new TG was asking where all the cars where during this episode!

The swearing is just silly, it's a family event, doesn't add anything and not needed.

Nice we have choice though and may both shows continue and not be ruined by egos.

Love the format but did feel the Army scene went on a bit to long. Shall still be more than happy to tune in next week.

All tho the army piece was to long it was funny with Clarkson and the terrorist in the room.
The circuit doesn't work as a track as it to small for the car's to open up.
Still I'll be watching next week's programme

Hmmmmm!...started off well with the Vulcan but then
Went a bit downhill for me .
The Army bit had funny bits but took over the programme
Far too long and a long way from cars!
Hope next week is better

I was excited to see they were in SA this week. It's the home of some of the best cars Europe never saw:
BMW e30 333i Alpina, e30 325is (2.7 230bhp), V8 Sierras and Capris, straight six Nissan Skyline sedans and coupes, VW T3 vans powered by stroked 5cy Audi engines, Mk1 golfs built new right up until a few years ago, super fast Opel Kadetts and many many more cars you'd love to see.

And then some of the best roads you could ask for.

Instead of all this they showed a bit of crap skidding and then played a clip of them in Jordan?
I thought the 'tour' would involve something of the country they 'tour' else what's the point of touring?

It's good to see them together again but it's all a bit strange. Hopefully more car stuff next week.
