Hi all. I've been asked by one or two members about having a day around our neck of the woods.
The day will involve a cruise around Nottinghamshire, and likely touching Leicestershire and Lincolnshire as well. :D
The plan now will be to meet at an agreed point (yet to be confirmed) cruise for an hour or so then we will have an hour parked up somewhere (yet to be confirmed) From there we will head for a meal (place yet to be confirmed). Cruise for an hour or so then stop at Clumber park in the main grounds where there's all facilties available. There is a £6.80 charge per car here.
Will be doing a run in next couple of weeks so will confirm everything soon. Thanks all.

I'm capping the numbers at 20 cars and have booked the meal for a max of 40 people (so no carrying extra bodies in the boot!) The run is now confirmed and morning, meal and afternoon stops are in place. Doing the run once more to make sure it all fits together and I'll post all the info thereafter. There will be an ITN file for those with sat-navs that will accept it. I'll also hand out a paper copy on the day for those that haven't. This will be done in the next couple of weeks hopefully. Love to come but not sure I can yet as at a wedding the day before in Cambridge.

Nice roads round there. Been driving into work through climber park some days in the Z instead of the company car.

Will try to sort s I can come, let you know this week.

It be me and the Mistress "car" - wife stopping at home - or worse going shopping.

If you going to clumber park - as I used to live there check out the B6420 just of the 5 lane ends - A614 & A1 junction - there is an nice fast road - and some tight corners drive into retford.

" I remember 20+ years ago - used to do an dukes of hazard over the railway crossing - and all 4 wheels leaving the ground":whistle:

For meal - look at the http://www.whitehorseinnbarnby.uk/#_=_ - as it has an very large carpark
