Yeah that sounds great to me Jim ;)
A Mini in sparkly blue sounds so cool :)
My favourite colour is blue and to add sparkles is even better :)
Bet it will be one hell of a looker , a head turner I bet :)
Do you mean like you at the Xmas party?? Problem with that though then Mary Mac is going to want something in sparkly red. You girls are going to cost me a fortune in metalflake paint. The Babe will want one in black and Bonzo will want one in taupe!! JIM

That's great Jim as long as the sparkly blue one is first on the list :)

Jim, here is thought with the mini, why don't you put a 2.0 maestro engine into it, big brakes, big wheels with flared arches and a nice big bore cherry bomb exhaust, then paint it British racing green or Red with white stripes, some nice five oscars up front and a big whip aril for he CB Radio, I have ideas for the interior too, when you've done all this I will come and buy it off you.

My mate had one this spec, it used to jump across the road on gear change, always made me smile......

The 2.0 Maestro was bad enough for torque steer in a big body Rich, must have pretty hairy in a lil' mini. Had a customer from the local plod when I had the garage and he had the same trouble in his MG Montego 2.0 Turbo mainly because the front lower arm rear bushes were soaked in oil and almost non existent. That was scary.

Not quite a mMini but almost, I bought Shirl an Austin Metro one year for Christmas as a surprise. It would the very first car that was "hers". It had a turbo technics kit, which included a turbine that was 5-6" dia mounted where the carb used to be and the carb was trunked around the end of the engine. The manufacturers turbo was TINY in comparison and mounted under the original carb. Jeez that thing was quick! I fitted a race clutch which couldn't cope with the power.

Well the 6R4 was one of the greatest Group A cars, I believe it still races in Rally Cross today?

Once saw a Peugeot Turbo T16 at a rally do in Lincoln, and met the original Stig (Blomqvist) at the Mitsubishi Dealer in town too.

The last RAC rally I went too, had the Renault Megane group A and the pug T16, RS200 etc the stage was through a statley home in Derby, it had been torrential rain for a few days, and these guys did not loose off the loud pedal one bit even with the crashes into the biggest tree stump I had ever seen

We didn't see any of those models here. Americans and Canadians were brought up on 8 cylinder power or 6 for the poorer crowd.
Rich, why don't I just put the car in a container and ship it to you!! JIM
