No worries Ant at least you asked the question .
Maybe should have just gone for it at the time but I'm thinking of just replacing it with standard so all 4 corners are matched at least.

Cheers Sean, did you fit new front struts and rear shocks as well when you fitted the eibacs ?

Steve
No mate, I know I should have but to be honest the B12s where out of my price range, the mechanic that fitted them checked my shocks and said they where all good.

So here's the kit laying out on the living room carpet - will be on the car by Wednesday. Can't wait to see what difference it makes to the handling. I need front control arm bushes (an advisory from the last MOT) and tyres all the way round (lots of tread but cheap and mismatched even across the rear axle) and that'll all the handling sorted

You missed a trick there pal, If I hadn't of just fitted Eibachs, I would have had the other set, still wish I had.

You're right there Sean,I held back as they were listed for a 1.9 I think. Ant emailed Amazon to enquire if they'd be ok for the 6pots but by the time they responded with a "don't know " the price shot up :shifty:.

Just got my car back with the new suspension on and taken it for a quick blast. I live in Milton Keynes so lots of roundabouts (or 'chicanes' as they're called when the roads are empty) and the handling is just a world apart from what it was with the old suspension.

To make its absolutely perfect there are a couple of other things (a couple of bushes and decent tyres) to do but it is just a massive improvement and I'm delighted for now.

A couple of photos below to show the change in appearance which I'm very happy with too.

Pleased it has given a good result for you .
You could do with some spacers on the back now to help make the arches look fuller ;).
