@Stevo7682 Mandy and I are going to stand down from the spring run. Our daughter is pregnant and in speaking with her there is a 50/50 chance that the baby will make an appearance at this time and rather than cancel at the last minute, we will give someone else a turn. See you all in the autumn.

Congratulation to you both - despite not doing any of the hard work (or the initial fun bit!) this time around... let us know how you and your daughter gets on... 👶🍼

Car has received it's first clay bar of the year in anticipation of next weekend. Need to wax (Meguiar's Ultimate or straight to Meguiar's Ceramic?). Tyre gel. Interior leather care and Gummi Pfledge. Already full of motion lotion. Taking bets if it will still be clean by the time I get to hotel (doubtful - oh well).

But it was clean once upon a time . . . !

It's the thought time and effort that counts plus you need to fuel in Dumfries ( 6 mile from hotel) so maybe time for a cheeky jet wash.

Intending to stop in Tebay for a late lunch. Is the hotel still around 1.5 hours away ? So depending on if I have a second cup of coffee or not, I might be heading to the Hotel first to 'drop my bags'. But a quick zip back down - it's a Tesco isn't it - point taken about maybe a sneaky jetwash. I will have the microfibre, windolene and detailer in the boot anyway.

Seeing it’s my first time out with the ZRoadster group I thought I’d better be present and correct..

So I’ve reinstalled V13+ ‘spicy tune’ via MHD ..should give around 550 BHP fatter than the cooking version at 5w5..

I’ve reflashed the DCT box with xHP v 3 that gives faster gear changes , around 60ms at the expense of smoothness.

I’ve increaed damping on the Ohlins shocks from 10 to 8 on the back and 10 to 9 on front.

I’m carrying a space saver so I think I’ll put one or two turns on the Ohlins rear pre load.

I’ll swap one the 437Ms for my Aoex Arc 8s with brand new Conti Sports Contact 7s..the other tyres are a bit worn after last weekend.

I had hoped that my low cost big brake kit with 370mm 30mm discs and copies of BMW F series 4 piston calipers would have arrived for this weekend but Autodoc seem slow.

I’m experimenting with using a loud wind noise played through the speakers in the garage to better set the Audiotec Fischer Match 10 DSP /amp to better able play music with the roof down and still get a good level of equalisation across both woofers and tweeters.

Im running a bit of LiquId Moly engine cleaner to try and keep the piston crown carbon as I use a more aggressive tune.

Apart from that it should be good to go..👌
