Hi guys I would now like to announce the dates for the 2024 (spring) Scottish run.
The run will be the usual 2 days
( sat , sun) and will be held on the 6th and 7th April 2024
Currently the plan is to re-run the 2023 run with some tweaks will firm up on details in next week or two.
Spring run will be limited to 12 cars.


So if you have an interest in attending get in touch and I will get you on the list .

UPDATE 02nd March 2024.
Hi everyone thats me got everything finalised and set up for this run over the weekend i will update this thread with the routes and stops that we will be doing over the run.
Also look out for a further update with route link for sat nav.

Update 9th March

Day 1.

Leaving the hotel and turning right onto the A76 for about a mile and a half taking a right just after crossing the river after a few miles and one left turn at duncow primary takes us to a junction with the A701 from there we follow the A701 into Moffat ( quick 10 min break ) from there we will be following the A708 to our first coffee shop at The Waterwheel just outside Selkirk this will be 45min to 1 hour stop.
Leaving the Waterwheel then onto ghe A72 through Peebles ( lunch stop is still in negotiation post details here once finalised) lunch stop will be about an hour.
After lunch we will head back to Moffat on the A701 quick 15 min break Moffat.
Then the last section out of Moffat onto the b719/ b7076 to Abington then the b797 through Leadhills and Warnlockhead back to th A76 at Menock then following the A76 back to the hotel.

Day 2 .

So Leaving the hotel turning left onto the A76 towards Dumfries at the big roundabout at the edge of the town we will take a right onto the A75 down to next roundabout then left following the road round we then take a right ( just before Kwik Fit on left) onto the A710 ( solway firth coastal route) we will follow the A710 to our first stop ( brambles cafe) just outside Dalbeattie ( very small place but she sorted us last year and happy to have us back)
From there its onto the A711 round to Kirkcudbright then left onto A755 which will take us to the A75 which we will follow to Newton Stuart ( quick 15min convenience break there)
Leaving Newton Stuart we will then follow the A714 / A746 /7 through Wigton , Whithorn to our lunch stop at Pirsac The View in Port William allocated around 1hr 15 mins for the stop.
From Port William we will follow the A747 back to A75 at Glenluce from there we will follow the A75 back to Newton Stuart ( quick stop back at the same car park)
The last section is from Newton Stuart taking the A712 to New Galloway then a left onto the B7075 right onto A702 through Moniaive right at Kirkland onto the B729 then back to hotel.
