Ooh, can't make it out from the bad light but that almost looks Laguna Seca Blue. Shame the light wasn't better to see it :)

Correct sir, LSB.

BTW, OP, cheers for posting my reg, just managed to clear my name after the last scum bag ran a red light in London with my plates.

I am finding this site a little difficult to navigate, where are the specific model related technical threads? I spend most of my time on bimmerforums.com.?

Hello anyway, cheers gix.

I'll edit the picture tomorrow and obscure your plate :)

I think someone answered already, but head to the forum menu option and click on that. Then scroll down, and you should find them! If you get to the footer, you've gone too far ;)

Thank you, no disrespect intended towards you guys, just the ones that caused the Met to write to me. Found my way around the site now cheers, sure I am dyslexic, I can look at things for hours and not see them:)

LSB is a difficult colour to photograph, it gets lighter/darker depending on the light. That sounds obvious, but you know what I mean.

I had the same problem with an old Ford Escort years back. Got a knock on the door one evening from the local constabulary. Someone was using my reg number and driving off from petrol stations in Sheffield without paying. Gits.

And now he's just sold a Dakar ///M=)). Seriously though, I've come across this a few times in the past. This is one of the reasons that you have to show proof of identity and residence when buying number plates. The seller should also keep a log of such sales too.

Except of course when you can order "show plates" with anything on them from the Internet with no proof of identity whatsoever :(

And that's just one thing which makes a mockery of it Gaz, what do you do with the old plates? Bin them, and then they end up God knows where, you not even required to destroy the old plates. Ain't the Internet wonderful?;)
