Al, @handsomejackuk asked me on Sunday about splitting 108s and the like.
This is the tool I used to loosen and re tighten each individual bolt (80 = 20 each wheel) bfore finally getting the tyres removed and splitting the two pieces.

It's a 15" long 1/2" drive ratchet with an 8mm spline bit. I found it best to do this with the wheels still on the car with weight on. That leaves you (if you're right handed like me) with your left hand to apply pressure to the ratchet and your right hand to ensure the tool remains located in the bolt head. Slacken off 1/4 turn and re tighten, keep repeating undoing a little more each time till it comes loose enough to screw right out. Youll know when. Clean the thread and screw back on and just nip it.

Don't think so Pete, just maybe the maker can use one barrel with several different centres, Cheaper?

I am currently on my second set, I used a meter long breaker bar, its amazing how strong those small suckers are, I split the fronts with no issue but broke ten on the rears, I managed to get six studs out but they are now at an engineers to drill and tap the rest
