Hi all,
Just passed a mot, which is always a relief!!!
But did have some advisories on front lower suspension bushes.
I thinking I should maybe upgrade the lot to poly bushes all round as they all must be a bit tired.
My help questions are :-
Can somebody recommend a good kit.
Can somebody recommend a mechanic/garage in the southeast that would be able to carry this out.
Thanks in advance

Dave.

Personally I'd stay with OEM bushes, Poly Bushes are rock hard, good for tracking your car but brutal on normal roads.

Just my view.

If you are talking just about the rear bush in the wishbone, just replacing those with poly bushes wont make it too harsh (doing the whole car will) and they are easy to replace DIY, All that you need is a Jack, axle stand, basic socket set and a hack saw. Loads of How To Dos on here. Powerflex are the favoured suppliers though there are other cheaper options.

And if you want a couple of cleaned and painted Bush carriers I can send you a couple ready to fit poly bushes into.

I`ve just fitted powerflex polybushes to the wishbones. Tightens up the steering and I didn`t notice any difference in the ride. Would recommend them with no reservations.

Munich Legends near Gatwick are THE best place in the south east (possibly in the whole UK) to work on these cars.
Unbelievable knowledge & service there.
