Silverstone Classic attendee

Hi Folks,

Will be attending the Classic meeting (all 3 days) in my M coupe. My son is coming with me & we will be camping at Woodlands for the weekend. Advised to join your forum for more info on the camping side of things. We should have a tent waiting for us on arrival (hopefully) & I just wondered whether to bring food & camping stove or use onsite catering instead. The plan is to park my sons car by the tent with chairs etc & then take the coupe to the display area, also with chairs etc in the boot & leave it there for the weekend (if it is safe !).
Any advice would be appreciated, & the plan can be changed (drastically) if necessary.

Always leave my car on site for the full 3 days never an issue. regards food and drink take as much as you can. We will be there for the full 3 days arriving Thursday, fly the BMWCC flag we site are selves in the upper field as more space to spread out our little camp.

I just meant the campsite.
My 'display vehicle pass' has arrived, so you will have a Boston Green M coupe (polished as well as it can be) available to the stand for all 3 days!!
I also have my BMWCC membership card (use mainly for discounts on parts).
The tent is erected by Pillow Motor Sports, so we will have to camp wherever they put us. Hope its not the opposite end of the campsite, unless you guys party until 5 in the morning !!
Used to camp a lot when the kids were small, but I'm 61 now & it's been a while (thats the crazy bit!), getting to the showers in the morning could be interesting !!!

Looks like you are sorted with the campsite, I told you they were a friendly bunch on here.
See you at Silverstone, I’m there all three days. Even booked a test drive in a Tesla on Saturday!
