Shiny new alternator

New alternator fitted, would have been a quick job if the bolts had matched the new nuts in the unit. Needed to tap them out. All working and good voltage.

My Z had a new alternator a couple of years ago. Wasn’t much fun driving my car as it failed in rush hour traffic on an extremely busy island and dual carriageway. Thankfully, the AA rescued both my car and I and took it to my trusted indy mechanic.
