The Lunch stop will be a carvery, is that OK with everyone? If not let me know and I will see if I can get a menu, as it will be best if we pre order any other meals other than the carvery..

Local=Llangollen & Steam Railway,Chester and its Roman Walls, Chirk Castle, The Pontycisylltan Aqueduct (if you have a head for heights) Panorama Walks above llangollen, I was planning to do this on the run, but they have a bike race over it on Sunday.

Further afeild: Liverpool is only 35-40 mins away , The Dock area is well worth a visit.

It all depends what you like to do really. Route for the coast: Llangollen, Corwen,Bala,Barmouth,Harlech,Portmadoc,Criceth,Caernarfon for a run out.

Thanks for those ideas Jim, some good suggestions and we will see how much we can pack in to our weekend now.
Looking forward to the Sunday!

Brian.

Agree with Jim's suggestions but if you are doing Chester on Saturday be aware there is a race meeting on. Expect a bit more congestion on the way in ( oh and a few more drunks to step over in the evening ;))
