Great photo @Jon2215, which perfectly illustrates the beautiful lines of the Z4 coupe in stark contrast to the awkward mismatch of the flowing curves of the Z3 roadster front end attached to an angular van like rear.
I 'kind of' agree but, in my mind, the z3 coupe isn't a coupe anyway. It's a 2 door shooting brake. ie a shooting brake for a jolly small shooting party.

Doesn't matter what you call it, the back is at odds with the front.

That's the beauty of a car conceived by engineers in secret putting a car together using as much of the existing BMW parts bin as possible. No flashy design studio involved just a bunch of people with a great idea to build a car that they thought drivers wanted. True it maybe a marmite car, some people don't like them but I love mine. It's the only car that I've had where someone has lent out of a passenger window of an overtaking car to take photograph of the Z3MC on the move. BMW will never make a car like it again.

My entry for Picture of the Month sums it all up really.

I GOT ONE!!!

Quite right @petecossie, conceived by engineers to create a more rigid car than the roadster. No doubt it performs better than a roadster and everybody is entitled to their own opinions about what they do or don't like. My wife likes me, there's no accounting for taste. ;)
