Pull all the way out
Spray with silcone and wipe down
let it retract
repeat until sorted
Thanks. I will keep trying as I have done it twice now. You mean spray where the belt goes into the hoops area at the top of the seat right [after fully pulled out]?

Sure, that's what I really mean. Have tried but will keep doing it until resolved. I just wanted to be sure I was spraying the belt in the correct place as it seems weird that the reel would be up so high. I assumed that the belt went into that area then down to a reel attached to the floor or something like that. Guess I was wrong!

I have this issue with both belts.. drivers side is worse..

Are new seatbelts expensive? That would seem a sensible option..
