Was that Inverary Castle with all the dangerous things on the wall? Got vague memories of being taken there when I was 4, seems to stir a memory. Would have been in 1960, took three days to get there from Hampshire in them days. Things have changed since then, I guess.

Sorry we didnt post up any photos while we were away, but i thought id save them for something to do when i got home

We had a fab time! Weather was FAB! we were very lucky. We did get some rain and it got very heavy at some points but when we wanted to be and about the weather dried up!

So many of these beautiful castles on the lochs. This was a stop along the way..

Eilean Donan Castle - this was the best castle we saw! and you get to go inside it too!
