Left home at 07:45hrs this morning and we are now at Ratagan Lodge, Loch Duich. 332m of glorious roofdown Zedding in glorious sun 🌞 A whole week to go and lots to see but first, chill and take in the views.

Fellow Zedder spotted at Viva Las Dalwhinnie.

shocking fuel consumption FFS! The C-in-C is onboard so a hooning free week.

just loving the 'Park where you like and annoy people' badge =))

As an aside we stopped for a leg stretch, three young Japanese lads asked if they could take pics of Bella as she was the most beautiful car they'd ever seen. Correct, crack on

Not a lot of traffic in either direction, which was bice. Got buzzed by a RN Merlin and the RAF Mountain Rescue were on hand if they fell out of the sky.

Some decent views from the Ratagan Viewing Platform. 100% roof down and good weather.

Isle of Skye today, a full 360 with a few photo/leg stretch stops and a few hours at Dunvegan Castle and Gardens. Roof down all day (we'll kip well tonight). The Council have done well on much of the road infrastructure but the bad bits make the Lakes look as smooth as a billiard table. I think I'll contact the Tourist Board and ask if they give out free car stickers stating 'all 4 of my alloys and tyres made it round Skye in tact'. Needed eyes like a Japanese Sniper FFS!
That aside, a superb day out.

Simply staggered at the weather we're having this week, absolutely glorious. Hardly any traffic about too, which is nice.

Urquhart Castle today down by Loch Ness then a local pub for lunch then Fort Augustus to people and boat watch and ice-cream.

A trip round Eilean Donan Castle, stunning rebuild and views then off to Skye to a middle of nowhere pub lunch then back to Lochalsh for a boat trip. Otters, Seals and 4 x Dolphin's. The boat has glass windows below the waterline, amazing views beneath the surface. A gander at a WW2 ship wreck then back to dry land to round off the holibobs, exhausted 😩

Looking forward to the drive home tomoz through the Trossachs etc.

Job done ✔ Set off at 07:30hrs this morning and headed back via the Great Glenn, GlennCoe, The Trussochs, Loch Lomond, Glasgow etc getting back at 14:30hrs.

What a week! 7 days of glorious sun and 1434.3 miles of 100% roof down driving. An added bonus was the very lite traffic whilst up in the Highlands, hardly any at all which made for more relaxing driving and soaking up of the views.

'Till the next time, The End.

Oh, Friday - Monday inc next weekend motorcycle tour with the RAF Crew, fingers crossed for the weather 😀

Hope you have a superb week Andy, great photos so far. Agree about the MPG, 37.7 is abysmal :)

Great photos Andy:thumbsup:, we've just got back from 10 glorious days in Yorkshire. Unfortunately no Zedding for me though, but agree about the weather, it's been outstanding.

Yup, so it wouldn't fall into Jacobite hands as a viable vantage point.
