Will do Wayne don't worry Tony's coming but don't know whitch car he's bringing might be trying out is 535 diesel remapped to 330bhp.
 
Hi Chris yes I have booked it for pay on arrival will leave it at ten in case anyone else wants to come can always cancel at a later date cheers tony.
 
Tony, I just looked at the Ibis Wellingborough and could have booked a double for £48 plus £7. 95 for breakfast what are they playing at
that's less than they quoted you for a 10 room reservation. OH and that price was for free cancellation too and pay on arrival.
What shall we do is it better to book individually?
 
Brian I will ring them tomorrow to find out what's happening if I cannot get the price down I will cancel and let everyone book there own room at the lower price will give you a ring when I find out more cheers tony.
 
Hi all been in touch with ibis today the deal we have got is £48 for a double room and breakfast at £7.95 per person this is optional so for room and breakfast this comes to £64 hope this clarifies things,we donot have to pay until we arrive and can cancel up to the day of arrival cheers tony.

Hi all,

If there is ONE Z3/BMW -show that I want to attend a year, which one would it be? This one?
Is it only on Sunday?

It's 386 KM from home....
do-able in one day....but staying for the night would be an option.

Options:
1) Leaving Saturday midday --> Santa Pod by evening
& returning Sunday evening after the show
2) Leaving Sunday very early --> Santa Pod in the morning
& returning the same day
3) Leaving Sunday very early
& returning on Monday
Price for the channel crossing is the same (as long it's within 48 hours)

Would there be a passenger seat free?

Strange that nobody has 1 show that he thinks sticks out.
If/when I come to the uk, I would want it to be worth wild.

Sorry I haven't had chance to reply to this, I read it when you posted but got a stinking cold and was organising BM's on the Lawn :facepalm:

Santa Pod is a good day, but as it's later on in the year the weather can be a bit unpredictable. It is well attended by members though, and really sociable. Plenty of decent cars to see, and watching the drag strip is more exciting when you know the cars and drivers.
 
Gaz, just spoke to the missus on this one, what are the options, are we too late?

Don't think so mate. I'll tag @yocky z3 2.0 and get him to update us on the details! I don't think he has ordered the tickets as yet, so should be fine.
 
Brilliant, will leave the ninja suit at home for this one ;) So you can all see me, plus I doubt there will be any donkeys to distract you lot this time!

I'm afraid you can't guarantee the weather at any time of the year. Last year it was raining hard all day. When it was in July there was a swarm of midges all day!

Been to Festival of speed (planning that one again in 2015)
Been to Le Mans Classic a couple of times
I've got a subscription in Zolder, so going to a racing weekend every month.
I've been going for the last 3 years to a Land Rover meeting (LRO Peterborough) also just to meet the peeps.
But I've also been to stuff where it wasn't worth wild....want to avoid that.
 
Hi koen we are staying at the ibis hotel on the Saturday night then meeting others Sunday morning to travel all together to the show,you could come over sat meet us all and have a meal and a few beers then go to the show with us then travel home after the show Sunday night.I have booked ten rooms provisionally and will be sending for the tickets at the end of August when I know the numbers it's been a very good turn out for the last four or five years regardless of weather your very welcome to join us on Zroadster group stand cheers tony.
