Due the the recent weather and the flooding we had to relocate the M before it hit fully (the guys in the garage next door warned me) .. So after a quick chat with the owner of the unit he agreed to move me..... The new unit is.... 1500 sqf . Lol the pic doesn't do it justice..

just for my records..
had a slight brake shudder the other day after chasing a 360 ...it was at very low speeds, around 20 mph and below.
stripped off all the calipers today and checked roaters. pads and pistons..all fine.
the sliders on the rear were in bad shape with heavy contaminants from the copper grease and completely dry.
replaced sliders, re-greased everything back up...all tests fine.
fronts yellowstuff rear blue... all calipers where done at the same time..maybe the bluestuff generates more heat?

edit ..rear strut fitted..!!

Copper grease on the sliding pins is not good in cold weather is it goes very thick and restricts movement and will probably lead to a partially siezed caliper especially if the car is laid up for a while over winter. You can get a special grease for the sliders that isn't effected by temperature as much, can't remember what it is called off top of my head but will try and find it for you if interested.

Good stuff lads I will look onto it

good price as well...top stuff Ian

The sliding pins should not be greased, the rubber grommet acts like a wiper to keep them clean and dry, greasing them will cause them collect dirt and bind up.

ok...however the ones that were in were gone...so needed replacing anyway...but noted

I imagine it's quite a hostile place to be on a car, glad you got it sorted though, are we any closer to the lean test yet?

its coming....but there is an effect...however its not anywhere near the front strut

the rear strut is coming off...the car grounded out about 20 times on the last run with it on....if anyone is putting one on keep the car at the standard height.

on a better note the car is booked in on Monday for a full detail (needs it after bringing half of Derbyshire home with us)
iv seen this guys work and its way above what iv seen before so shes going in.
when shes done i will invite him to the forum if its ok with the mods?

Are you going for the £100 valet? You'll have let us know how it is as stalyvegas isn't too far away from me.
