S168 TCV - Arctic Silver M44

Can't you work it out from the information provided?

No. Coz you're like one of those magicians just pulling more stuff out of your sleeves. :)

Actually. You mentioned zeds. Then Saabs then the voyager. How'm I supposed to know what else is lurking on your tardis-like drive. Oh. They're on the road. I bet your neighbours love you :)

I responded to questions - I doubt that qualifies me for membership of the magic circle.

As for the neighbours - rest assured we often enjoy long evening's together drinking cocktails and discussing our favourite marques ;)

Actually . . . And off topic (a bit).

John o Groats is a long LONG way from Sheffield. How did the range anxiety get on in the drive up in the Tesla - & back ? Real life review . . . (and you're ordering another one so I guess you like them)

We made that trip over 3 years ago in the first few months of owning the car and Tesla subsequently contacted me to ask if they could use that photo for some promotional activity - I suspect it was the first time one of their cars had been that far north on the UK.

At the end of the day if you want to waft along in comfort with only the sound of the stereo and the option of the car doing all the driving then I couldn't recommend the Tesla highly enough - and believe me that driving comment is not a joke the Autopilot capability will really pick up the lions share of the effort.

However, you are in no way connected to the driving experience and god knows what the constant advancements in battery technology will do to the residual prices.

That said if you like to partake in the traffic light grand prix then there really is no better car to do it in - but I guess you could say that about most of the new EV's that have entered the market.

Essentially the Tesla just does the daily grind stuff well, the Mrs loves it and it's loaded with tech that improves the driving experience and overall safety - at this time of the year its great to put the climate control on ahead of any trip and let the car notify you when it's up to temperature.

I guess that's why I love the Z3 - when you want to go for a drive and feel like you driven the car and not just sat it in it there really is no better place to be

Since buying the Z4C in November S168 TCV has been Sorn'd and consequently I have not been giving it nearly enough attention.

So today I got the Bilt Hamber snow foam out and addressed that situation - I don't know what it is about this car but it always makes me smile. Although with hindsight I think that's just Z3's in general

Until this morning the Z3 was Sorn'd but come on it's Friday and we finally had some blue sky above our heads. So onto gov.uk and the sorn problem was resolved - no time to plan but off we went.
Fortunately everything else just fell in to place and I ended up putting another big tick in the box of why I love this car.
Apologies for the gratuitous photos and if you hadn't guessed the location was Little Longstone - believe me when I say that pub is well worth a visit. It's a Thornbridge house, the food is top notch and the atmosphere is great

I'm sure I've seen that around Sheffield - there are quite a few around including my now-sold Boston green one, S56EBW.

Sheffield is indeed where the car currently resides - spends most of it's time in Handsworth unless it's out in the Peaks

That’s where I’ve seen it as I often walk from intake to Handsworth and up POW rd.
You should bring it to one of our BMWCC meets.

No pictures of food - is it worth a stop ?

Worth adding to one of the bacon butty / slice of Bakewell / Pie & Peas type of establishment s ?
