So it’ll be going straight into storage? I’d not want to drive that for fear of dirtying the underside
Not yet but suspect a top mount. The underside was all okDid you find the source of the knock Rob?
Tony.
Looking Amazing! Can’t thank you guys enough!Cracking update today. We had one hell of a day and so many visitors.
Safe to say she’s very nearly there now. Just need to connect up the brake lines and bleed the system. Some other little niggles to sort but nothing big.
Rear end was assembled and brakes fitted all round.

That oil filter Wow, just wowLittle Friday update. We’ve been having issues trying to get shocks. We had a complete kit on order that never arrived, the seller kept giving us false promises. We ended up having to pay our local GSF for a set of Monroe shocks. We should finally get the Zed back on her own wheels this weekend.
The welding has been done under the drivers seat where the bung is. This is the weld in its raw state and now needs tidying up and unsealing.

We also gave the Zed a service and fitted some new spark plugs. Safe to say this oil filter was well past it, when a filter gets this bad it’s risky for the engine as they start to brake down and you also loose the good seal that effects oil pressure.

We tore the entire cooling system out, flushed the rad, the heater core and the water jacket - all good. The 3 of us in the 'shed today brainstormed it and we figured out that "someone has been here before" and they hadn't reconnected the hoses the right way round as the hoses leave the heater matrix in to the water jacket.did you sort out the water spout being thrown in the air from the rad on Rosie??
