Not driven the old girl for 5 weeks as I've been away :arghh: drove her all of 2 miles to the paint shop for her new paint this morning but won't be able to pic her up 'till the end of October just in time to go back on the road so in essence no Bella fix until December :arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh:

On the upside, nice and shiny :D  can't wait :banghead: Hopefully will get a few pics taken by the paint shop so will post up.

She is one pampered Z, looked pretty good before.
Yeah, trying to get her as near to new as possible so that when this France secondment is finished in a couple of years time she's bang on for many many years to come Mike :)

That's great Andy, I've just booked the Imola in over Christmas for a full respray too.. 2 shiny Zeds coming soon ;)

Cherrrrrrrrrrrching! =))

So does the C n C know how much this said 'touch up' honest boss ... is costing lol.

Between us, how much does a full respray costs? Just curious, I'd love to have mine redone, removed the odd little dings etc. Currently I'm pondering investing in a tent/electric sprayer and give it a go. Unlikely to start before spring tho...

Won't be getting much change out of £3k but it is a proper job with all bits that need to come off coming off, bumpers, badges, grills, door handles, sills, wheel arch covers etc. Had a mate do mine a couple of years ago (limited funds at the time) in a tent in his garden, did a good job TBF but at £895 you get what you pay for.

:scorecard: Good luck with your respray :scorecard:
:party:Can't wait to see the photos

Good luck pal, hope they do a cracking job, for that sort of money it should be top notch,

Agreed and kind of hoping so mate, anything other than a "10 from Len" will result in a one way conversation, I'll be on transmit and they'll be on receive. It's a good place though and did a good job on the Galaxy when a stationary wall jumped out on Yvonne and went down the side of the car :arghh: driven past that wall many-a-time and never seen it move yet ;)

Had a guy who was recommended by a good mate come and look at the Imola, and I have seen his work which is great, he said if I strip it he would do it for 2k thought that was a fair price as the stripping is time consuming but I have time. Said he would make it beautiful for me :) To be fair he insisted in to coming to see it first (2 others were indifferent and didn't really seem to interested just said yeh we can spray it) so hopefully I have chosen the right guy? @Sean d ???
