I too use the gauge to tell me and after checking for the first few months don't bother anymore but have a friend that has spread sheets that show where every penny has gone! I'd rather be driving than keying into a computer!!

I'm another saddo who logs my mileage and fuel spend for both my cars. I do it every fill up and calculate my mpg per tank full. I still get to put a few miles on them too

Not saying that's wrong @Jack Ratt just not my style. If I have the $$$ I put in gas if not I have to wait for the next pension cheque to hit the bank account. With my aggressive driving style it might scare me if I knew what we spend on gas in a month! lol. JIM
