As the OBC isn't working I have been logging the fuel used, so for the last 500 miles this month averaged 29 which I am pleased with. Trip to Duxford and back 175 miles at pretty constant 75ish was 31. so still running well.

Got a good 29mpg on the Derbyshire cruise. Happy with that.

I'm really chuffed with the mpg from my 3.0Si engine. Pretty consistent 30-32mpg, doesn't matter if on the motorway or on the back roads. Would likely get more if I could hold off the right pedal :bag:

Not measured mine from the amount of fuel put in but the OBC reports an average of 29. Filling up every 300 miles but have had the distance and miles covered total up to 450 on a steady motorway run. Soon came down again though with a bit of spirited driving

I calculate mine every tankfull and I'm constantly getting 29-31mpg and from a 2.8 auto, it'll do for me

My OBD says I'm getting 33mpg

In this case I should mention that my average fuel consumption is about 40 mpg and in "good days" it's 44 mpg! (1.9 manual, always full boot)

I'm averaging 29-31. All these figures that are being thrown about are bloody good for engines of this size. My old Ford Essex V6's did 18 if you were lucky!

My run back home from Derbyshire was "spirited" shall we say and didn't drop below 29.3.

Sean is right: who needs to know the consumption as long as the pedal to the metal is putting a smile on your face? And for refueling we have the gauge and the red warning light! So , keep smiling!

my warning light has blown its bulb, i have a big pile of these bulbs but still havnt gotten around to it yet, think it blew simply due to it wearing out as it was always on=)) the furthest i dared go with the light on was around 60 miles with clenched teeth and a right foot like a granny:) dont think i have ever filled a tank to the top in my entire life:whistle:
i keep telling myself i will swap the bulb while i do my wooded clocks, but this project just keeps rolling around in the boot as other stuff just keeps pushing it down the order.
