I thought the genuine BMW item had straps to attach it to the hood to prevent it blowing in the wind?

I make do with a thin beach towel which apart from a bit challenging to fit on windy days is far better than the original item as its larger and removes the abrasive impact of the "pram bars" on the rear window as they fold down..Think it cost me a fiver from B&M!
