Re-furb wheels.

Pete; no, they were not split, good spot:thumbsup:. But they were missing a few chunks of paintwork. No kerbing, thankfully, just a small amount of pitting. As you say, they really do look great, I am really pleased. The guy that does them is a few miles from Hereford, he has a very good set-up, he does a lot of work for local garages and private clients although it is not his main income. But he came very highly recommended, and I can now see why. It was worth the 40 odd miles trip to him:D.
If you are looking to have some wheels done, can you PM me and I'll give you his details. I'm guessing that from your location you might be about the same sort of distance from him that I am.
Colin.

My wife has exactly the same set in need of a refurb. but she has my old summer 19's on her Z4 at the moment.
However it's Santa time soon, so money will be spent elsewhere.. I will get them done in the new year.
They are exactly what I want... send me his details by PM please

Pete; I'm not sure how to get a PM to you, so my email is : .
BTW, sorry for the delay, over at my sons in Worcester on the weekend.
Colin.

Any idea if he would charge the same price if I did the split and reassemble.

That's a great price if so as he does a good job. Please PM me details if preferred.

I'd say that's a result! I paid £110 a corner to have my MV3's powder coated :arghh:

I got a quote of £75 per wheel if I split them, that is for 2 colours though.

Tony.
