only recently got this bad, one problem with the bmw oem calipers is the pads tend to seize/jam, this causes them to twist and wear un-true, in future i will strip mine down once a year and clean them, paying particular attention to the pad runners area (it clogs and corrodes)

if your trying to figure out what the heck that is, both pics are supposed to be calipers with pads, first pic is looking from underneath while the second is looking straight on.

Well what can I say apart from WOW. I picked the car up this morning from Lee and the Guys at the Z Shed and the car drove the 80 miles home without a twitch. The gearbox change is now like butter. The manoeuvring so much tighter and the car feels so much more solid on the road. I thought I was driving a different car. I can't thank you guys enough.
xx

It was a pain to fit with the beam in place but perfectly doable.

True Lee do my best.
Cliff spent the morning reproofing the roof after a winter of it getting soaked.

If I rent a room down there for a week or two could you help an old knackered codger completely overhaul the underneath of my Zed ;) - I'm serious. Like the other (better looking) @Tracy Dee said I don't trust the garages up here - the VAG independent I've used for 20 years plus for my other cars didn't do a good job when he worked on my Zed.
