Before I start, fantastic build!
As the recent owner of a bambu lab 3d printer, I have done a fair bit of research already
I think 3d printing it a very good idea for a custom thing like this
Below are the Heat Deflection Temperature and price for some available filaments:
Hope this helps, I think it is definitely do-able
However , my printer can only do up to 25x25x25cm so unless it is done in pieces, probably not suitible
I am sure there are some companies online that do to-order 3d print stuff

It's been a little while, but the auld zed runs again, still needs a map but a little progress and it's not obnoxious at all haha.
