I feel a bit of fraud posting this photo as I was thousands of miles away when it was taken

three of my faves.
both taken with either a Canon 40d or 70d depending upon when. The first was with a nifty 50. what a great value lens. the second was probably a tamron 70-300mm that I sold again to fund a sigma 150-600mm C
dont take a lot of shots these days. will have to get back into once we have moved house in the new year (hopefully)
the last was a shot of a local landmark that was a part of series as such. a little photo project after I left my job of many many years.

Some shots from my village fireworks event, my mates and myself hardly get to see anything as too busy setting the display off and keeping a eye out on each other 100% safety record for the last 15 years not to bad snaps from iPhones.

Last nights lunar eclipse, It was a bit hazy, but the stars can be seen.. Sigma 150 -600, Nikon Z6..Taken just before totality...
I had a go at M42 aka "The Great Orion Nebular" last night under really difficult conditions, by the beach with streetlights behind me, a 2/3 moon two hours behind target and a hazy sky. But I'll share it anyway..Its a stack of 16 images at between 10 and 20 seconds with the Z6 and the Redcat 51.

And M31. The Andromeda Galaxy.. Even worse target , low on the horizon.. Ah well, it was a good excuse to stay up way past my bedtime..

Heavy crop , same equipment, but the Moon was starting to be a severe PITA by the time I got to this one.. Despite the poor seeing however , my tracking was good all night, just a slight drift.
