+1 to this, I'm not a polisher but this makes me want to have a go ;)

Hi Russ i have a das 6 polisher which make of pads should i use on it & in which order. thanks

You forget that I've seen your's Sean. Was looking rather nice too may I say.
You obviously put plenty on for flatting back.
When I painted it, it was the first time I have had a spay gun in my hands for over 20 years, so when I got 2 decent coats on I was happy at that, should have put more on but nerves got the better of me, my plan was to flat the panels once cured and re-lacqueur them but excitement got the better of me, I was looking at some pics that I took when it was first painted and it looked very sharp and wet, it has lost that edge now.

It looked very nice in the sun at Zedfest but if you think it could go more then your'e welcome to pop to the unit anytime mate.
I'm sure together we could whip round it.

Thanks for the offer Russell but I am considering top coating it over xmas.

For ease of use, Use the 3M polishes and pads.
I would (If you are new to polishing) get a 4" backing plate for the DA and use 4" pads.
A DA will not give no where near the finish of a Rotary though buddy.
But it will make the paint sharper with a touch more clarity.
Always claybar the car first after a very good and thourough wash
