Are you about Saturday. If you are i will pop down and pick that door Low Rider has kindly donated to me.

@Russell O Panther is looking amazing already Thank you soooo much for this (starts to get emotional)
I really thought I wasted my money on the paint job and was sooo upset when I saw that every panel had the treatment of what can only be described as a brillo pad x

It's going well Stacey, Really is. It's being moved shortly to the corner as other work in now too but it's all nice and safe and I can still work on him whilst he's sat over by the loo....=))

Nice wash method once it's de swirled
Snow foamed, grit guards in your buckets, pH balanced shampoo, good wash mitt plush drying towels.
Keep all equipment clean every wash. ;)
Looking good Russell.
Cheers Cliff.

That first pic just shows the difference. The door and Quarter panel are as different as chalk and cheese :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Good job too Russ, I need to see what happens with the Beemer estate:thumbsup:=)) The difference in those panels is incredible mate, you must put a hell of a lot of hours into these jobs. Re the heaters, they must make a huge difference to your work through the winter months and quite expensive too.

Tony.

Good Morning Tony,

Heaters, You and I both know that working in a garage/Unit can be very cold and can also slow your pace down.
My old bones don't like the cold so we have a Radiator in the Office/Restroom and a Gas space heater in the Workshop.
Was looking at one of those oil burners but would require a fair amount of work with flues etc and it's not our building.
Landlord wouldn't mind but whatever work you do has to be put back afterwards.
We are 850 square feet so not big but costs us £10 per day to heat.
I'm not so bad as always doing something physical but Deb's can get cold on the Upholstery side of things so heat it up we do.

Have the 530D in today for some work so I will take a few pics for you. I'm pretty sure it's the same colour as your Z4.
This car came with an Autobox that had threw all it's oil out the sump due to warping of the plastic.
I took a chance on it and replaced with genuine parts and came out with a winner. Whoo hoo.

Have a good day mate.

Have you got the M yet Russ or has that fell away ?

Evening Tony

Taken a couple of pictures for you today of the 5 series.
Just more clarity to the paint and flake as the lacquer is now clear instead of having years of washing and being dull.
First two pics after a 2 stage polish.
Still requires a final finish polish which I do last to the whole car in one go.
