Haha! Nope MPH my friend, was really going for it trying to avoid potholes the size of the moons craters lol!!Was that Km though
Tony.
Fair point Tim if that's the case. Even so there would have to be some advantage in opening out the manifold ports to match the head port size at least? How much I've no idea but it would certainly aid in the flow of air into the engine. The whole runners are smaller not just the opening
Would be of course, however they have integrated o ring style gaskets so would be a mega faff and not worth the gainzFair point Tim if that's the case. Plus they're plastic, what a mess.Would be of course, however they have integrated o ring style gaskets so would be a mega faff and not worth the gainz
What was his thoughts on it?Got me thinking again now. I have talked about this with @Antm72 as he had one on his old 2.8. I'm chomping at the bit again now.
This is a great mod to do and very effective on the single vanos engine. What was his thoughts on it?
I was only interested in the difference between the 2.8 and 3.0 however, it's worth serious consideration - £400 for 30bhp, almost a no brainer if you can afford it.This is a great mod to do and very effective on the single vanos engine.
The car turns in to a completely different animal its the best pound for pound mod you can do for power, the gains you get are large for the cost and anyone having done the M50 manifold conversion will say the same im sure.
So you need the M50b2.5 manifold - do you have the part number? It's a bolt on mod and a few small adaptations for 30bhp extra
No sorry, I think there are a fewSo you need the M50b2.5 manifold - do you have the part number?
To save you asking lots of questions, read this, it does get a bit confusing but all the answers are in it, I'm sureSo you need the M50b2.5 manifold - do you have the part number?
Are you still changing the manifold?Apparently so. I'm back on to doing it now. Your fault!
He had better, Im getting ready to take it up the strip for @Grumpy at Santa pod this year. Are you still changing the manifold?
