Today we got the seats. Finally after a month it’s all back together. First we had to solder the old connectors onto the new carbon fibre heated seat pads. Luckily didn’t take long. We also had a helper today In the shed.
So we had the black leather added to the binnacle and airbag cover then the rest treated and sealed. We also changed the centre console from Red to the Brushed Aluminium. Then the seat bases were steamed and thickened up. We also removed the old heated seat pads and fitted some more modern carbon Fibre pads.

So with wheels down next was a test drive. No lights on the dash other than a low fuel light. See how high the car sits before everything settles.
First snagging issue was a catching dust shield at the rear and spongy brakes. So back to the shed for a quick bleed and to straighten the shield.
2nd test drive we noticed the fuel light on (Full tank) and no speedo, at this point it was time to call it a day before my boss got angry. So tomorrow we’ll have a look, we’re thinking a connection is missing on the back of the cluster. Other that that she drives so nice. Dad is well cuffed.
