Don't be Brian, come and have a go !! All of August 2018 is already booked and our friends from Gainsborough just got back on Thursday and are asking us to pencil them in for August 2019, which we really can't but the school holidays always go first.

Tony.

A little. I am teaching myself when I get the chance, not had much time recently mind. Not good as my dad was a linguist and head of languages in his school for his entire career!! Retired now.
You need something in the truck to help you learn,it's an idea?

Would that be a rest while your painting, growting, clean the pool, painting the fence, washing the windows, eating cheesedogs with cheese, and eating everything else with cheese! :D. I want to come :(

Can't be doing with hussle and bussle
Having lived out in the sticks as a kid with my parents in the 70's, I loved it but now I love living in the center of town.
Bars and restaurants just across the road, well in fact, all the way up and down the road.....:)

My worst nightmare mate. Can't stand being near pubs, shops etc! Can't stand where my house is situated in the middle of an estate but we are only 5 minutes in the car away from woodland and open fields. It'll have to do until we can flit.

Wow what fantastic views you have there Andy, what lake is that in the pic ?
It's taken from the road at the top of the farm track, aptly named "Quality Corner" looking out over the Solway Firth and across to Scotland. The best views tend to be in winter on cold crisp days when there's no haze. Can see the Isle of Man and Scotland very clear. Brutal at times though.

Forgot to mention there was a Z4 on the ferry,a red one and it parked up right behind us :)
Had a chat with the driver as the ferry docked and we headed back to the car, gave him zorg card,he's from Scotland hope he makes an appearance on here as it's the 3rd card i'v given out so far. About a mile from the port we got wave from a French Z3 :D...Left handed wave though
We'r off to Pays Du Fou a day early tomorrow, around a 4 hour drive and the weather's forcast to be good .
Here some pics of the littl gite we'r staying in down the garden
