Parked at M&S was a lovely yellow Ferrari'ish looking sportscar. Went over and chatted to the owner asking what it was, turns out it was an AC 3000ME. Never seen one before, it was absolutely mint. No phone so here is an internet picture:

I asked if he was worried leaving it in a car park space, he reply was " not really, you have to use them". At least you can't get dings easily as it is glass fibre. Runs a blown Ford 3 litre V6 which you cannot take out complete due to space, have to take heads off etc. He asked me if I recognised the parts bins that were used, I got the Ford engine, Escort door handles, Triumph Dolomite rear lights, but didn't know the steering was Triumph also.
He had the right approach, no good looking at them in the garage, get 'em out and use them. Need to use my Fiji more.
His wife had a Z3 2.2 for 10 years, she loved it. He was looking at my Zed and commented how different it looked with a hardtop.
