Bad night last night and feel a bit rough today!
Still, as long as the better days outnumber the bad, I still class that as a win!
That's bound to happen :p
Chin up and smile, your doing very well ;)

Glad you’re on the mend ,really you couldn’t have timed this recovery time better as the Tour de France is on every day on itv 4 ,so start planning your holiday next year they are in Normandy now but will be moving down to the alps next week so many places to visit and see.Worked for me and I’m still doing it and I’ve got years of trips lined up .sarah and I have been up lacettes montvernier twice and the tour is going up here again this year get it on your list ;)

Yesterday I made a big mistake.
As I had not been near the Zed for a while I thought it might be a good idea to start her up and let her run for a while.
Actually it was not too painful getting into the car, so when I saw that the fuel light was on I decided that I could probably manage the very short run to the petrol station. Stupid move.....
I am now back in bed, full of painkillers, feeling as if my insides have been mashed up with a kitchen whisk!
Note to self number 1: Do what the doctors tell you and don’t be so bloody stupid!
Note to self number 2: Check sports suspension all round... it is very hard!

I will still get to H4H though!

Sorry only just caught up with this. Pleased to see your surgeon was happy with the result of your surgery. Take it easy and come back into things steadily.

I think the lure of the zed can be a mighty powerful thing. I hope you are feeling better soon and that the discomfort that you are having at the moment dissipates quickly

Thanks Alan,
I am pacing myself. The key is to get the dosage of the painkillers right so they can do their stuff but not impede my driving ability.

Good news on your convalescence Paul but please take it easy and don't rush it and risk a set back mate. Been there after heart surgery 10 years ago.

Tony.
