New project 2.8

Of course the leather has to be in good condition to start with to be that good. Do you dilute it?
Yes, it's too strong neat, a couple of glugs and a gurgle is about the right mix :), its particularly good on algae and old grime, no good on grease and oil as its caustic

The Cif foam & liquid soda crystals is brilliant for that.

G101 to the rescue again, door cards are now done and put away, I love doing stuff like this as it's an instant reward
Looking really grubby,

You can see by the state of the cloth just how much dirt there was

They look spanking, the beauty of 101 is that it removes all grime and previous treatments back to factory fresh

Thanks pal, it's going to make a cracking stock z3, I'm still torn as to what to do with it. It's the best base z3 I have ever owned

That's insane! I'm so pleased I ended up selling to you, the car really is in very safe hands :)

Thanks James, should look like it did when your dad bought it in 2001, most of the body work is now complete and hope to start the painting process a week tomorrow, was hoping to paintb the bonnet and doors in the morning but something has come up.

Wow coming along nicely mate.

Have you hovered it at that point Sean?

Tony.

Hoovered pal, no is the answer I blew it off for an age with a blow gun, grit was endless, it was scrubbed with 101 and jet washed, I left it to drain and the water was still brown tinged so it got another jet wash

Jet washed? I’ll have to loan one.

Do you use cold or warm water in the mix with 101 Sean? Or doesn’t it matter?

What part of this do you disagree with @StephenM
Once you know these cars they are so easy to pull apart with the right tools, its just them shitty little 8mm head screws that do my head in, you even have to grind an 8mm socket lip flat so it will grab the 2mm thick head

Sean - my apologies I was on a train and must have hit the wrong button - I was reading through your thread very impressed with your speed and thoroughness of progression, I think it is wonderful to see people who are passionate about what they do.
