Ok folks, back by popular demand. This will be the forth time I have organised this popular run around the New Forest. It's a lovely place to drive and maximum speed of 40mph through the forest with the animals on the road makes it a relaxing day.

Date now fixed 22nd May 2016.

The route will be almost the same as the big run last year taking in the ornamental drives so we all know the great run through the forest.

I will be closing the list at 36. As that will be enough to manage. Hopefully into four groups.

The route will go up once I have confirmed that any issues can be avoided. As I know that roadworks are taking place towards the southern end of the route.

Starting place will be the same as last year.

I will ask the same as I do every year. Please keep an eye of the person behind you and slow down if you can not see them. Unless you are the last car that is. That was before @hard top made that comment. Standard highway rules apply and the speed will be below 40mph. The animals have rights of way in the forest even on the roads. They do not dent and can not be fixed like our zeds can. ( Waiting for the Deer jokes.. )

Mc Donalds post code. SO51 6GF West Wellow Services Ower, West Wellow, Southampton. 10am with he first group ready to leave by 10.30 or thereabouts.

Here is the raw google link for the map so people can add it to the sat nav files if they wish. This link does not included the bit from the Leep to Lyndhurst and then back to the Services as you can only add so many points before it has a paddy... So please see the .pdf for the whole route. with the return from Leep.

Ok folks everybody 1st choice will be May 22nd then. Unless more can not make it and we return to thevApril date. This is so @t-tony has no excuse to miss it ..
 
Hi Paul i think there is already an event planned for the 24th April, it's the picturesque Derbyshire cruise. I have been trying to post a message to you on the Euro 16 cruise thread - I was going to say have a rest now and enjoy Christmas then think about us Zedders after but too late your a glutton for punishment :whistle::)
 
I need to get the dates in @Mrs Mint as it will fill up otherwise. So it's looking that the May date will be the day. Simple. :whistle::whistle:

And once this is out the way.. I am planning a special for later in the year ... South Downs will be special this year. :whistle::whistle:

Hi we would like to attend, could you put me on the list for this one please @pgunter missed it last year.
 
Could you put me and @jue1 down as a possible for the moment tar.
 
We'd like to do this one again, and may be Sunday would be the preferred day. We'll stay at West Quay Premier Inn in Southampton. It's just off the town centre and the car park is a multi storey car park (very secure) next to the hotel that is locked between midnight and 6am. I use it when I'm in Southampton on business.
