They aren't aerials, who would put aerials that big on a car!!!!!!

They are masts actually, I'm planning a cross channel amphibious excursion. :-bd

The fruits of my labour, this photo was taken on the Nurburgring. I was chasing down a GT40 so was pushing the car very hard at the time this photo was taken. The suspension upgrades seem to have worked well, the car looks planted in the photo. The eibach springs really have worked wonders with the cars handling.

Great photo Pete, looks like you were going a fair bit faster than on the Kent cruise earlier this year. :D

BY FAR, the fastest car of the day. God knows he had under the bonnet but it shook my car it went past so fast (spitting flames as it went)

Actually Mozza, compare your belly to the belly on the flying sister on the far right hand side. Where were you about 7 days a go? :D

This trip was a bit last minute.com, we weren't sure if it was on till quite late on. If I do another, I'll start a thread and see if there is any interest. If so we could have a Zedring day!!! :coolsteer) Just plant that heavy right foot of yours Moz and let the car do the rest. :steer1)

From Folkstone to the ring it takes about 6 hours via the channel tunnel. Here are some costings:

Channel tunnel = £100 return
Fuel = a tank of fuel there, a tank back plus another tank throwing the car around the various twisty roads near to ring (utterly brilliant roads)
Nurburing = 96 euros for a 4 lap ticket or 26 euros per lap (you buy your tickets at the entrance)
Hotels were inexpensive, we used booking.com
£30 for a european driving kit including triangle, high vis vest, extinguisher, blah, blah, blah (bloody French!)

Here is the Nurburgring calender:

There isn't much touristy things to do nearby but Cochem is well worth a visit, full of stunning scenery, great restaurants and it isn't too far from the ring:

I've been putting this of for years, a crying shame because it is easy to get there and not as far as you might think. I should have done it a long time a go. Hope this helps Shantybeater, if you need any more info just let me know :)
