No not really Pete, dented my pride more than anything. The crumple zone items worked perfectly. I will replace the broken plastic under tray which I smashed when I clipped a kerb on my way to the MOT Training day last Feb. at the same time. Going to investigate if I need any bits at the weekend and then temporarily re fix the bumper corners to tidy it up for ZedFest. It wont be perfect but such is life.:)

Tony.

No mate, I'm northwest of Lincoln. Stamford is way down south of the county, when is the show Pete?

Tony.

Sunday 26th August went last year just to see the cars on show and enjoyed it , so though I would show Bessie this year, its a very pretty town

Hope you have great day then, as we'll be doing the group leaders route recce and BBQ at ours ready for the following weekend.

Tony.

Me too mate, I think you'll enjoy the run and I know you'll enjoy the pub lunch.

Tony,

Hope you get her back on the road soonest.

Hell, she's still on the road mate! Being my one and only daily driver and Shirl won't let me steal her oil burner, I've no choice.=))

Ha,ha. You are probably right, but in all honesty her Eos 2.0 does go rather well, DSG gearbox folding tin top, almost, I said almost makes me want one. I can admit that I wouldn't mind having the MPG economy it gives. That is until fuel prices get back to 1973 levels..............:whistle::whistle:. Then it'd be pedal to the metal, in Sport mode and drive it like you stole it. A man can dream =))=))=))

Tony.

looking like she had won the pools

And that's the pay off from these cars, "the grin factor", I bought my Z3 9 years ago and the Z4 3 years ago and I still get the smiles per mile from it. Also the community vibe from this forum is really second to none.:)

Tony.

This arrived at work today. Thank you Mike.

Had the nearside front wheel arch liner out this afternoon to temporarily re align my front bumper at the wing edge. I have to say that for a 15 year old car (on the 18th. of this month) it is very clean under there.

No sludge trap like the Z3 has.

The sludge on a z3 add to character and gives it that perfect 50 - 50 weight balance.

It does look very clean though I suppose
