Another little job done today. I will add some detail later on.

Seat fully back just touched it.

I used some heavy twin core to route along the centre console from the socket to the fuse box behind the glove box.

I removed the left rear speaker cover, it just unclips, then utilised the top clip hole nearest the centre to let the cable inside the plastic cover, fed it round the back of the support bracket and down to the console. If you take off the 1 screw cover and remove the Phillips screw you can ease the plastic away from the tunnel and run the cable above the screw fixing point and out of plastic cover along the side of the tunnel. Simply push the cable under the edge of the plastic and run it to the front of the cabin. Replace the 1 screw and it's cover then clips the speaker cover back into place.

Remove the glove box to access the fuse box. I found an ignition fed port which was unused (not fused) and tapped into this with a male spade terminal. This was port No.2 in the fuse box.

I then fitted an inline fuse holder armed with a 20A blade fuse to power the live (red) feed cable to the rear mounted socket and fitted a ring terminal on the (black) earth cable.

Cables tidied up with some small cable ties.

Last look after the glove box shell re fitted, before securing the glove box door in position.

Now both front and rear facing cameras start and stop automatically with the ignition key.

Finally got the new tyres on the 108s and put back on the car.:)
New carbon style centre caps complete the badge change over from blue and white. They are a good fit but I make them just a little tighter by wrapping some tape around them. Harder to remove as I had 2 new ones swapped for 2 very tatty old ones last year.
