Its been a pleasure having you as a member here Roy, and your Zed has certainly transformed well over time! I still find it intriguing how a silly website can inspire and change people's attitudes, and also bring people together and forge lasting friendships. There are some good memories in your photos for me as much as there are for you. We've had some cracking meetups over the years, and long may they continue.

Nice thread Roy. Love the way your car has changed as time has moved on. My first meet was at yours and Staceys birthday bash. Invited by @David through the dark side. Never looked back. I love it here, the meets, the comarderie never stops amazing me, but more than anything the good friends I've made. Ooh and to top it off the average age on here seems to be 64 1/4 which makes me feel really young! :D

Didn't forget it Mac it's just that I didn't take any pics so was embarrassed to put it down, but thanks for getting me on film. Did get a bit wet there though and I lost a umbrella for over a year. BMG did get it back to me though at Tony's last meet..........

Ok you lovely people, all I intended to do was put a few good picks of my Z up which is what this forum "The Z Gallery" is for and some how chose a heading which you all seem to like, hope I haven't started something that's gonna make Gaz's life more difficult. It is great to know that people who live miles apart can make the effort to meet so regular just because they have something in common then become really good friends, well it just goes to show you that people who should have met earlier in there lives have somehow come together through a medium which for all intense and purpose was to communicate over long distances and not to make you use so much fuel you get yourself into trouble with the bank manager. (the wife) I just wish I lived closer to you all. Ha ha ha that's one hell of a stupid statement, cos if I did there'd be no effort required and a lot less smiles for miles.
Thanks for all the replied and I truly consider you my friends even if it takes me hrs to get to you.

Now anybody know of a forum for Hot air balloon pilots cos I'm seriously thinking of saving up for some lessons, it could work out cheaper.:pompus:.........................:watching:................

Thank you but,
Where do I go from here Ian, there's allready a tad too much bling on it, your right about the wheels but after 18mths you start to look at everyone else's and hanker for something newer. Still can't believe I'm the only Z3 with the OEM spoiler, even if it doesn't help me go faster ( Salesmen said it's good for at least 3mph on a hairpin) it still a talking point and people remember the car cos of it, met said salesmen last week and he reackon he's got one that's good for at least 5mph round any bend, but it's huge so I declined but I did give him your and Tony's name.;)

Roy.

The spoiler makes such a standout difference and creates a purposeful stance without being the Scooby ironing board overkill. I don't expect any performance advantage at all to be honest - not that I drive it like I could get any. Its about looks.

I hear what you're saying about the bling, but, its the only thing thats missing. I'm looking from a balance perspective - when you look from the side - it gives you an arch from the rear wheels and stone guards through the door handle and the gills and then the front wheels. But, I can see also it all adds up and detracts from the lovely lines of the Z3.
