Video My budget crash repair Z3 project.

Great video clips - I like your approach - hope all goes well in the next episodes - keep them coming! Good luck!

Interesting work you are doing very intuitive - keep the vids coming- they are thoroughly enjoyable!

Interesting! Love your approach and showing us that a lot can be done in our own garages! Keep the vids coming, happy days :-)

2nd gear...are you there?

Guess I was correct then Nath re the G/box mountings. :) The engine mountings still don't look quite right to me though, I think they need the top and bottom nuts loosening and the the body of the mounting turning with some large grips until the locating dowels drop into their holes and the mounting sits "flat" against the steel. You may even need to loosen the G/box cross member mounting bolts to allow some movement there too. The engine mountings need to sit properly, especially if you're going to "track" the car or they won't last and due to the extra strain will leak prematurely. Excellent work mate!

Tony.

Well said @t-tony!! Those won't take track torture for very long let alone everyday driving the way they are set now.
@nathankershaw you should get your own TV show! I'' finding your vids very entertaining! JIM

These vids are getting better and better
When is she getting a proper clean

Great work. I have never heard a man so happy to find a broken part on a car before =))

Happy to see that transmission looks sorted out. Agree with other members that the engine mounts might be worthwhile to spend some more time on.

Regarding the soft top, why not change it all together? It's a lot of "cheap" aftermarket variants over there in U.S. ( I'm in the market my self for one ) Then you can make an episode that I can use as tutorial:-D

Keep posting your videos!

Cheers from Norway!

I'll definitely be doing an episode on whatever happens with the roof. This original roof is in good condition so I'd like to see if I can repair this one.

Its great to see you have finally got it registered after all your hard work. Great job

Glad its now all legal hopefully the engine mounts will not be to much of an issue to resolve.
